TERRE HAUTE, Ind.— Coastal Carolina's Terah Kipchiris finished 70th (30:54.5) at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Colorado's Jorge Torres won the event in 29:04.7.
Kipchiris participated in the event after finishing fifth at last Saturday's Southeast Regional in Greenville, N.C. to become the first Coastal Carolina cross country/track and field male student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Kipchiris won the Big South Championships earlier this season.
