CONWAY, S.C. - With the success of the Coastal Carolina University baseball program, the Department of Athletics has put all-session ticket packages on pre-sale for the 2010 NCAA Myrtle Beach Baseball Regional, June 4-7, 2010, and Super Regional, June 11-13 or June 12-14. Should the Chanticleers be selected to host a Regional and/or Super Regional, the events will be hosted at BB&T Coastal Field in Myrtle Beach, home of the high Class A Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
"The Regional and Super Regional ticket pre-sale is an opportunity for us to provide a service to our fans and the local community and to demonstrate a level of community support to the NCAA Baseball Selection Committee," Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek said. "We want to make sure that Coastal fans have the first opportunity to purchase the best seats should we host one or both of these events. Our goal is to insure that BB&T Coastal Field is a true "teal" home-field advantage for our baseball program, providing our student-athletes the best chance to reach their ultimate goal of playing in the College World Series in Omaha. We hope all Coastal fans will take advantage of this opportunity to be a part of what could be a historic year for the Coastal Carolina University baseball team and the entire University community.
By pre-ordering, Coastal fans can guarantee the best seats for all Regional and Super Regional games and avoid busy phone and walk-up lines once the Regional sites are announced. In addition, your credit or debit card is only charged should the Chanticleers be selected to host.
Ticket prices for the Regional range from $50-75, depending on seating level and include an official Chanticleer Teal Baseball T-Shirt with each all-session ticket purchased. Advanced ticket pick-up will be available for the Regional on Wednesday, June 3 at the CCU Athletic Ticket Office, with all other seats not picked up handled at the Coastal Will Call at BB&T Coastal Field.
