Oct. 17, 2014 Chapel Hill, N.C. - Honami Yazawa of the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team won her first round match in the main singles draw on Friday to advance to the round of 32 at the women's ITA Carolina Regional.

Yazawa defeated Campbell's Tamara Stanic in a three-set match, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 to advance to the second round, where she will face South Carolina's Caroline Dailey on Saturday.

Libby Scott was also competing in the main singles draw, but fell to North Carolina's Hayley Carter in the first round, 6-1, 6-0.
