Final Draws

Wilmington, N.C. - The Chanticleers' three flight finalists, Honami Yazawa, Romane Delay and Sara Bondar, all fell in Sunday's singles flight championships as the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team wrapped up competition at the UNC Wilmington Fall Invitational.

All three Chanticleer players lost to women from East Tennessee State.

Yazawa fell 6-0, 6-3 to Lyn Yee Choo in the A1 Singles flight, Ioanna Markensini bested Delay 7-5, 6-3 in the A2 Singles flight, and Anna Gerbasi was crowned champion of the B1 Singles flight with a 7-6(2), 6-2 victory over Bondar.

The Chanticleers return to the court on Oct. 16 for the first day of competition at the 2014 ITA Carolina Regional, held in Chapel Hill, N.C.
