CHARLESTON - The Charleston Southern University-hosted Wendy’s Invitational women's golf tournament that was scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (October 3-4) has been cancelled due to Hurricane Joaquin, which is scheduled to move up the Atlantic Ocean coastline this weekend. The storm is expected to bring heavy rains and possible hurricane-like conditions to the Lowcountry through the weekend.

The tournament will not be made up.
