2015 Palmetto Intercollegiate Round One Result 
KIAWAH ISLAND - Led by Malene Krolboll Hansen's 3-under round of 69, the Coastal Carolina women's golf team is tied for seventh after 18 holes of play at the College of Charleston-hosted Palmetto Intercollegiate. In addition to pacing the Chanticleers, Hansen is tied for second individually at the par-72, 5,972-yard Kiawah Island Resort -- Turtle Point course.
The Chanticleers shot a 6-over 294 and are tied with Kansas for seventh. Campbell carded a 2-under round of 286 to lead Kennesaw State (287) by a single stroke. Furman (288) is third followed by Illinois and Xavier with matching 290 scores.
Hansen's 3-under 69 featured four birdies and 13 pars against a single bogey. The sophomore posted two birdies on the front nine and two on the back nine.
Bailey Cocca shot a 2-over 74 and is tied for 32nd, while Barbora Bakova posted a 3-over 75 and sits tied for 47th. Cocca's round featured three birdies and Bakova's two.
Lena Schaeffner is tied for 61st overall turning in a 4-over 76 round. Marie Lunackova rounded out the CCU contingent with an 5-over 77.
Coastal ranked third in the field in both par-3 scoring and total pars. The Chants played the par-3 holes a combined 1-over and sank 62 total birdie putts. The Chants tee off on round two of the tournament Monday morning. The event concludes with a final 18 holes of play on Tuesday.
