2015 Palmetto Intercollegiate Round Two Results

KIAWAH ISLAND - Coastal Carolina women's golf sophomore Malene Krolboll Hansen is leading the Chanticleers with a score of 152 after 36 holes of play at the College of Charleston-hosted Palmetto Intercollegiate, played on the par-72, 5,972-yard Kiawah Island Resort -- Turtle Point course.

Hansen, who is tied for ninth on the individual leaderboard, has carded rounds of 69 and 77 for her 2-over 146 total. The 2015 Big South Freshman of the Year has recorded five birdies and 24 pars throughout the tournament's opening two rounds.

The Chanticleers recorded a team score of 305 (+17) on Monday and are currently tied for seventh on the team leaderboard with a 599 (294-305) total. Furman paces field with a score of 570 (288-289) followed by Campbell (286-296=582), while Illinois (290-300=590) and Chattanooga (295-295=590) are tied for third.

Barbora Bakova posted Coastal's best round of the day with her 3-over 75, which featured 13 pars against three bogeys. The junior is tied for 34th overall with a 6-over 150 after posting matching two-round 75 scores.

Freshman Marie Lunackova shot a 4-over 76 on Monday and is tied for 52nd overall (77-76=153). Bailey Cocca finished her second round with a 77 and is tied for 40th (74-77=151).

Senior Lena Schaeffner withdrew from the event during the second round due to injury.

The tournament concludes with a final 18 holes of play on Tuesday.
