Terre Haute, Ind. - The Coastal Carolina women's cross country team competed in Pre-Nationals meet Saturday morning. The CCU women place 40th out of 42 teams. Michigan's Erin Finn was the over winner with a time of 19:44.7
"Aynslee had a great race setting a new personal best for 6k and she was 42 places higher than she finished at the same meet last year," said head coach Jeffrey Jacobs. "Kyla also had a solid effort and improved on her time on this course from two years ago at the NCAA championship.

Five members of the Chanticleer women's cross country team competed in the Pre-National meet Saturday morning. The field included eight, of the 42 team field, ranked in the top 30 in the national polls, among the ranked include No. 2 Colorado, No. 5 Portland, No. 7 Stanford, No. 9 Oregon, No. 12 Arkansas, No. 13 Michigan, No. 16 Eastern Michigan and No. 22 Virginia.
Junior Aynslee van Graan set a personal best time crossing the finish line in 33rd and 20:48.5.
Kyla van Graan a senior followed in 77th with a time of 21:15.5. The final three to close out the scoring for Coastal were junior Alesia Muklebust in 274th and a time of 23:42.8, freshman Alyssa LeClaire in 278th with 23:56.8, and sophomore Kayla Tracy in 283rd finished with 24:21.7.
The Coastal Carolina cross country teams return to action in the Sun Belt Championships on Oct, 29th in Dothan, Ala.
