2016 3M Augusta Invitational Round 1 Results 
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Coastal Carolina women's golf sits 10th after 18 holes of play at the 3M Augusta Invitational contested at the par-72, 6,246-yard Forest Hills Golf Club.
The Chanticleers finished the first round of the 54-hole event with a 302 (+14), but are just four strokes back of four-place teams Augusta and Kennesaw State (298). No. 33 Furman and East Tennessee State co-lead the 16-team field with a 2-over par scores of 290.
Coastal was paced during round one by Lena Schaeffner's 1-over 73. She is tied for 13th on the individual leaderboard after turning in a near-flawless day with 17 pars and a single bogey.
Malene Krolboll Hansen shot a 2-over 74 and is tied for 17th. The sophomore's day consisted of 11 pars, three birdies, three bogey and a double bogey. Hansen double-bogeyed the 13th, but bounced back to shoot 2-under over her final five holes.
Marie Lunackova is tied for 35th with her 4-over 76, while Barbora Bakova and Bailey Cocca shot a 7-over 79s. Lunackova is tied for 35th, while Bakova and Cocca are knotted for 67th. Lunackova's round was featured 11 pars, including each of the final six holes, and two birdies. Bakova also carded 11 pars to go along with her birdies on hole five. Cocca pared each of the first nine holes, but played the back-nine 7-over with a birdie on the par-3 16th.
Coastal tied Virginia Tech for second in the field with 59 total pars, trailing East Tennessee State's 61.
The tournament schedule has been altered due to forecasted inclement weather on Sunday. The tournament is now scheduled to conclude with 36 holes of play on Saturday.
