April 21, 2017 War Eagle Day 1 
Auburn, Ala. - Coastal Carolina men's and women's track and field team completed day one of the War Eagle Invitational, in Auburn, Friday afternoon and evening.
WOMEN
In the field events, Chloe White finished second in the javelin with her toss of 41.90m (137' 6"), her fourth throw of six attempts. Morgan Boyle placed fourth with her distance of 40.48m (132' 10"). Marissa Cain tossed 35.34m (115' 11") to place sixth.
In the track events, Aynslee van Graan placed fourth in the 1500m with her time of 4:19.58, and Lisha Van Onselen finished ninth in 4:38.09.
MEN
In the field events, Robert Castellani finished third in the javelin with his distance of 59.19m (194' 2"), his final of six attempts.
Hutson Baumann placed eighth in the 5000m with a time of 14:50.83, in the track events.
The Chanticleers will finish up day two all day Saturday, April 22, in Auburn.
