New Orleans - The Sun Belt Conference has released the 2018 women's golf All-Sun Belt Teams and individual awards and the several Chanticleers have been recognized for their outstanding performances.

A total of four players were named All-Sun Belt and two of those players received individual honors.

Senior Malene Krolboll Hansen has been named the Sun Belt Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. She led the conference in stroke average at 71.56 and holds most of the individual records at CCU. It is also the second season she has been named First Team All-Sun Belt and it is her fourth consecutive all-conference honor.

Joining Hansen on the first team are Sena Ersoy and Frantiska Lunackova. Both are first-season Chants with Ersoy's 74.06 stroke average second on the team and third in the conference. Ersoy was also recognized as the Sun Belt's Newcomer of the Year.

Lunackova had a 74.34 stroke average which was third on the team and fourth in the Sun Belt.

Frantiska's sister, Marie Lunackova, has been named Second Team All-Sun Belt. The junior's stroke average was 75.00, fourth on the team and eighth in the Sun Belt. It is the second time Lunackova has received the honor.

Finally, Head Coach Katie Quinney was voted the Sun Belt Coach of the Year. It is the first time she has received the Sun Belt honor, but it is her fourth time being named a conference Coach of the Year, after winning the award three times when the Chants were members of the Big South Conference.
