KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Coastal Carolina's women's golf team finished their first event of the season 14
th at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Tennessee.
CCU shot a 19-over 303 in today's final round and finished with a team total of 911 (314-294-303).
Junior
Marie Lunackova led the Chants with a final round 75 to go along with her 78-70 rounds yesterday. Her 223 led the Chants and finished tied for 28
th overall.
Jenjira Jnangkul also shot a 75 during today's final round and finished her first collegiate outing with a 230 (79-76-75) and a 58th place finish.
Alexandra Naumovski had a three-round total of 231 (80-73-78) and finished tied for 59
th, while
Tiffany Arafi was only one-shot behind Naumovski with a 232 (77-76-79). She finished tied for 62
nd.
Frantiska Lunackova shot a 75 in today's final round and finished with a 233 (83-75-75), tied for 65th.
Stephanie Henning shot a 236 (82-74-80) in the event to finish tied for 75th.
The Chanticleers will be back in action later this week when they travel to Greenville, S.C., to play in the 2018 Lady Paladins Invitational. Furman will play host to the event which will run Friday Sept. 21 through Sunday Sept. 23.
