Final Team Results

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Led by sisters Frantiska and Marie Lunackova, the Coastal Carolina women's golf team moved up one spot on the final day of the Lady Paladin Invitational to finish second behind Invite host Furman.

CCU finished the day with an even-par 288, which was tied for the best score on the day. Kansas State also shot a 288. CCU's final three day total was 870 (293-289-288) which is tied for the fifth-lowest tournament score in program history.

Frantiska shot a three-under 69 in today's final round and finished the three-day event with a two-under par 214 (72-73-69). It was the second-best career score for the sophomore who was CCU's top finisher with a fifth place finish.

Marie was not far behind her sister, shooting a one-under 71 in today's round to finish with a one-over 217 (75-71-71). Her three-day total of 217 placed her in a tie for 10th in the final standings.

Freshman Tiffany Arafi shot a three-over 75 in today's round and finished the tourney with an even-par 216 (74-67-75). She was CCU's third top-10 finisher with a tie for eighth.

Jenjira Jinangkul shot a two-over 74 in today's action and finished with an eight-over 224 (72-78-74). She was tied for 39th by the end of the event.

Alexandra Naumovski also shot a two-over 74 today and finished with a 14-over 230 (77-79-74). She finished 70th.

Junior Stephanie Henning, playing as an individual, had a career record-breaking round. She shot a four-under 68 in today's action. Her round was CCU's second-lowest round of the event, behind Arafi's 67 in yesterday's round.

Henning's 68 was a career-low round and her two-over 218 (74-76-68) was only one shot off her career mark of 217 set at the Florida State Matchup last season. Henning's score had her in a tie for 12th.

Also playing as an individual in this weekend's Invite was Victoria Parker. She finished the day with a one-under 71 which tied her career-low round. Her six –over par 222 (76-75-71) was one stroke off her career-best 221 she shot during the 2016-17 season at the Cougar Classic. She finished tied for 33rd.

The Chants will be back in action next week when they travel to Florida to play in the Bubba Burger Jacksonville Classic. The event is hosted by Jacksonville University and will take place Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1-2 at the Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
