Final Results
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team shot a 303 in today's final round of the Valspar Augusta Intercollegiate to finish the event in seventh place with a three-round total of 889 (295-201-303).
Marie Lunackova was the top finisher for the Chants with a 4-over 220 (71-74-75). She finished the event with another top-20 finish, finishing tied for 19
th.
Jenjira Jinangkul was tied for 27
th after shooting a 6-over 222 (72-73-77).
Tiffany Arafi was 9-over for the event with her three-round total coming to a 225 (75-68-82).
Frantiska Lunackova rebounded for her best round of the event, shooting a 73 in today's action to end the tourney with a 13-over 229 (80-76-73).
Stephanie Henning finished tied for 51
st after shooting a 15-over 231 (77-76-78).
Alexander Naumvoski and
Victoria Parker played in the event as individuals for the Chants with Naumvoski finishing 58th with a 234 (81-76-77) and Parker finishing tied for 62
nd with a 237 (82-75-80).
It was a tough afternoon for the field as only one team completed the invitational in under-par fashion. Event Champion Texas Tech was 4-under for the three rounds shooting an 860. Purdue finished even-par with an 864 while event host Augusta finished third at 3-over 867.
Rounding out the top five was Charlotte finishing the event 5-over with an 869.
The Chanticleers will be back in action March 29-31 at the Bryan National Collegiate. The event will be held in Greensboro, N.C.
