BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team finished 12
th at the Bryan National Collegiate after shooting a 12-over 300 in Sunday's final round. The Chants three-day total came to 911 (309-302-300) and finished one shot ahead of Kentucky.
Marie Lunackova was the low scorer for the Chants over the three rounds finishing with a 228 (75-74-79) to come in with a 12-over score. She finished the event tied for 49th.
The Chants had two freshman finish the event at 13-over (229).
Tiffany Arafi picked up her score shooting 77-76-76 and
Alexandra Naumovski had scores of 77-79-73. Both came in tied for57th.
Frantiska Lunackova shot better each day and finished with a 14-over 230 and tied for 65th overall. She had scores of 81-76-73 during the event with Sunday's round of 73 matching the team low with Naumovski.
Jenjira Jinangkul finished tied for 74th with an 18-over 234 (80-76-78).
This was the final regular season tournament for the Chanticleers as they will now focus on defending their 2018 Sun Belt Championship. The Sun Belt Championship will take place Monday – Wednesday, April 15-17, at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
