Final Leaderboard
MACON, Ga. – Coastal Carolina's women's golf team completed play at the Mercer Invitational and it was a much better third round for the Chanticleers than yesterday's first two rounds of action.
Sophia Carlsen had the best tournament in her short career. She finished the third round with a two-over 74 to bring her three-round total to a nine-over 225 (78-73-74). Her previous best was last year at the Princess Anne Invitational where she finished at 13-over par. Carlsen was just a one shot out of the top-10 finishing tied at 11th, a jump of eight spots from yesterday.
Heidrun Hlynsdottir had her best round of the tournament shooting a one-over 73 in today's round and moving up eight spots. She finished with a three-round total of 227 (75-79-73) and her 11-over par finish had her tied for 19th.
Senior
Frantiska Lunackova was more herself today, shooting a three-over 75. She finished the event with a 23-over 239 and placed in a tie for 37th. She made the largest move up the leaderboard moving up 13 spots from yesterday's finish.
