Durham, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team fell to the No. 29 ranked Duke Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon in Durham, N.C. With the loss, the Chanticleers dropped to 4-2 on the season while the nationally-ranked Blue Devils improved to 11-1 on the year.
 
Duke secured the doubles point on courts No. 2 and No. 3 to take a 1-0 lead.
 
In singles action, the Blue Devils recorded wins on courts No. 6, No. 4, and No. 1 to secure the match win. On court No. 3, Gonzalo Anchondo won the first set 6-4 to go up 1-0 but was trailing in the second set 3-2 when the match was secured by the Blue Devils. Pyry Hyrkkonen also won his first set 6-4 and was leading the second 3-2 when Duke recorded the match win.
 
The Chants will continue its road trip through North Carolina with a match tomorrow at East Carolina. First serve is set for noon ET.
