PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team finished eighth at the Florida State University Seminole Match Up after shooting a three-round total 934 (318-310-306).
Sophomore
Caitlin Evans-Brand finished the event in third place after shooting a five-over 221 (73-75-73). It is the best individual finish of her collegiate career. Her previous best was a seventh-place finish at the Princess Anne Invitational last fall.
Frantiska Lunackova finished tied for 30
th after her 235 (79-77-79) and
Jenjira Jinangkul finished tied for 37
th after shooting a 237 (81-78-78).
Stephanie Henning first tied for 49
th after her 245 (85-80-80). After missing the first two rounds due to illness,
Tiffany Arafi did play the third round and actually had the second best CCU score of the day with her 76.
CCU will take a few days off before getting back to action when they play at the Valspar Intercollegiate March 14-15 in Augusta, Ga. Augusta University will host the annual event which will play at Forest Hills Golf Club.
