CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team will end the fall portion of their schedule at the Olde Stone Intercollegiate on Oct. 25-26 at the Club at Olde Stone located in Bowling Green, Ky. Louisville and Western Kentucky will serve as co-hosts of the event.
The Club at Olde Stone is laid out over 6,235 yards and is scored as a par-72. The two-day tournament will feature 54 holes over the two days with 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.
Joining Coastal Carolina, Louisville, and Western Kentucky in the 14-team field will be Augusta, Charlotte, Middle Tennessee, Marshall, Memphis, Morehead State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, North Texas, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
The Chanticleers have had strong fall performances thus far this season with a fourth-place finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational, a third-place finish at the Evie Odom Invitational, and a championship performance at the Buccaneer Classic.
Head coach
Katie Quinney will have the same lineup for the fourth consecutive event led by seniors
Tiffany Arafi and
Caitlin Evans-Brand. Arafi has had a stellar fall with two top-five finishes. She was fourth in the season-opener at the Lady Paladin Invite and finished second at the Evie Odom Invitational, where she shot a program-record 64 in the second round. She is the reigning Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.
Joining Arafi and Evans-Brand in the lineup again this week will be
Sophia Carlsen,
Jenjira Jinangkul, and
Sara Sarrion.
