CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team concluded the fall season Sunday at the College of Charleston Halloween Invitational.
In doubles play, the duo of
Jesse Hollins and
Mathilde Tranberg defeated the Samford duo of Sofia Zaprianov and Samantha Maras 6-1.
The Coastal team of
Megan Hopton and
Victoire De Samucewicz earned a 7-6 (4) win over Ally Hayduk and Lauren Waddles of the Bulldogs, while the team of
Paola Landin Lopez and Noa Boyd of Charleston Southern defeated Christianna Hornigold and Alonna Wood by a score of 6-2.
In singles action, the Chanticleers battled the College of Charleston Cougars as Hopton defeated Helena Huff 5-7, 6-3, 6-1. Landin Lopez defeated Mckenzie Daniel in straight sets 6-1, 6-3, while De Samucewicz earned a 6-3, 6-1 win over Elizabeth Nowak of the Cougars.
