CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team recorded its third-straight win with a 6-1 win over the College of Charleston on Wednesday afternoon in Charleston, S.C.

Coastal opened the match scoring with back-to-back wins at the No. 2 and 3 doubles positions to take the doubles point and an early 1-0 match lead.

The team of Victoire De Samucewicz and Kristyna Jurkova defeated CoC's duo of Peyton Brotzman and Eleanor Campbell 6-2 at the No. 3 doubles spot, while the freshmen tandem of Jesse Hollins and Mathilde Tranberg followed with a 6-3 victory over Anastasia Palaska and Clara Errard at the No. 2 position.

After the Cougars tied the match score up at 1-1 with a straight-set win at the No. 2 singles position, CCU's Hollins recorded her third-straight singles win with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Lily Labiche on court No. 6 to put the Chants back in front at 2-1.

Senior Somer Dalla-Bona continued her singles winning streak with a 6-4, 6-1 straight-set win over Trinkle at No. 1 to extend the Chants' lead out to 3-1 in the match.

Jurkova would seal the win for the Chants, as the newcomer battled back from a first-set 6-1 loss to dominate sets two and three by identical scores of 6-1 (1-6, 6-1, 6-1) to pick up the victory on court No. 4.

CCU closed out the match with wins at flights No. 5 and No. 3, as Valentina Urelli overcame a first-set loss to defeat Brotzman 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 on court No. 5 while De Samucewicz ended the match with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win at the No. 3 position.

The Chanticleers (3-2) will remain on the road to take on Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. on Tuesday, March 2, at 1 p.m. ET.
