SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
• The Georgia State Panthers are 11-32 overall and 6-9 in Sun Belt play this year.
• The Panthers are coming off a 4-3, 14-inning win versus Wofford (April 27) last time out after being swept at South Alabama (April 23 & 25) last weekend in Sun Belt play.
• However, of their 11 wins, the Panthers have beaten in then-No. 14 West Virginia twice (Feb. 20), then-No. 2 Vanderbilt (Feb. 26), and then-No. 10 Georgia Tech (March 3).
• The Panthers are hitting .244 on the season as a team that ranks 10th in the Sun Belt and leads the nation and Sun Belt in strikeouts with 440.

SUN BELT SLUMP

LINE CHANGE
• While the Chanticleers have had only 15 different players start in the lineup in at least one game this season, head coach
Gary Gilmore has written out 30 different batting lineups on the year.
• In fact, Gilmore has used just two lineups more than once this season (reference page 14).
WINS COME AS THE BATS GO
• The Chanticleers' offense is key in whether or not CCU is victorious this season.
• Coastal is 13-2 this season when the offense out hits the opponent. However, CCU is just 6-15 when the opponent matches or records more hits in the game than the Chants.
