TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team moved up two spots on the second day of the FSU Match-Up after carding an 11-over 299 during Saturday's action.
CCU moved up two spots carding a two-day total of 610 (311-299) and finished the day's action in ninth.
Caitlin Evans-Brand is tied for 20th for CCU after finishing the second day with five-over score of 149 (75-74).
Jenjira Jinangkul is tied for 28th after today's round, and is two shots back of Evans-Brand with a seven-over 151 (78-73). Her second-round 73 is the Chants' low round of the event.
Sara Sarrion turned in a team-best four birdies today on her way to shooting a two-over 74. She is tied for 42
nd after finishing the day with a 10-over par 154 (80-74).
Sophia Carlsen and
Tiffany Arafi were the other Chants in the event with Carlsen tied for 53
rd with a 13-over 157 *79-78) and Arafi tied for 60
th with a 15-over 159 (79-80).
Fifth-ranked Oregon moved up two spots in today's action to take the overall lead. The Ducks are the only team under-par with a five-under 571 (290-281). Host Florida State is second with a three-over 579 (288-291). Virginia Tech has an eight-over 584 (288-296), while Arizona is 17-over with a 593 (300-293). Kent State completes the top-five with a 22-over 598 (305-293).
Oregon State is in sixth with a 23-over 599 (296-303) and Miami is 27-over with a 603 (304-299). Clemson is just three strokes in front of the Chants at 31-over 607 (300-307) and Mercer is two strokes behind CCU with a 36-over 612 (307-305).
Missouri with a 38-over 614 (314-300) and MTSU's 40-over 616 (309-307) round out the field.
