CLEMSON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team fell on the road against in-state foe Clemson by a final tally of 6-1.
The Tigers took an early lead after claiming the doubles point, along with five singles matches.
Anna Babayan forced a third and decisive set in No. 5 singles against Ali DeSpain, rallying from one set down to earn a 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 win for the Chants.
Coastal Carolina will have a quick turnaround, as the Chanticleers will host North Carolina Central on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1:30 p.m. ET at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
