GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team continued its strong play on day two of the Spartan Fall Invitational in Greensboro, N.C.

CCU began the day with a matchup against Campbell in singles play. CCU swept all three doubles matches against the Fighting Camels yesterday, with Ryuya Ata, Carlos Berna Ruiz, Lucas Wayenburg, Goncalo Ferreira, Jesus Garcia, and Guilherme Toresan all picking up doubles wins. Today, the Chants struggled to continue that same momentum, winning just two of the seven singles matches. Those two wins came from seniors Toresan and Garcia by scores of 6-4, 6-4 and 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (7), respectively.

To close out the day, CCU faced Longwood, splitting six singles matches with the Racers. Toresan recorded his second singles wins of the day, as Berna Ruiz and Ferreira each recorded their third overall victory of the tournament. 

Day three of the Spartan Fall Invitational will start tomorrow at 9 a.m. ET.
