CLEMSON, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's track and field team continued its 2024 indoor season today on the campus of Clemson University in this year's Bob Pollock Invitational.
The Chants continued to add to their top-place finishes tally today with three, two from freshman Ebba Hedberg in the women's high jump and long jump, topping the leaderboard with 1.70m and 5.74m final distances, and one from redshirt junior Ellie Wolski in the women's one mile event with a 4:52.11 final time.
Hedberg also finished third in the women's pentathlon and the women's 60m hurdles with a 3841 point total and 8.96 time, respectively.
Other top placements for the Chants featured freshman Callie Wilson finishing second in the women's pole vault, redshirt senior Kynnedy Dennis finishing with a share of seventh in the same event, junior Zayna Fray-Samuel also in seventh place in the women's weight throw and fifth-year senior Meg Goebel in third in the women's 60m hurdles in 8.92.
The Bob Pollock Invitational from Clemson, S.C. continues tomorrow at 8 A.M. ET, starting with the men's 60m and closing at 4:55 P.M. ET with the men's and women's DMR.
