TROY, Ala. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team (8-13, 2-6 SBC) lost 4-0 today to the Troy Trojans (19-6, 4-4 SBC) in the final match of the regular season prior to the start of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament next week at the Lunsford Tennis Center in Troy, Ala.

Troy took the opening doubles point after winning the first and third-seeded matches 6-1 and 6-2. The No. 2 seed match between CCU's Guilherme Toresan and Lucas Wayenburg and Troy's Carles Anton and Yeray Pastor was left unfinished with the Trojans leading 5-2. 

Troy sealed their fourth conference win of the season after winning the first, fourth and sixth-seeded matches, with all three coming in straight sets. Wayenburg and Jesus Garcia both took the lead in the No. 2 and No. 5 seed pairings after the opening set, but both matches were abandoned after the Trojans took a 4-0 lead. 

Following the result in Troy, the Chants will now look to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament starting on Thursday, Apr. 18 in Rome, Ga.  

The bracket for the tournament will be released tomorrow at 11 A.M. ET.
