ASHEBORO, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team sits in fourth place after carding a 17-over 593 (296-297) after two rounds of the Tot Hill Farm Invitational on Monday.
Freshman
Aoife Devaney is tied for sixth after the opening day of action with a one-over 145 (71-74). Senior
Sara Sarrion finished tied for eighth after carding a two-over 146 (72-74).
Ella Murray was solid in her two rounds, finishing tied for 12th with a four-over 148, while
Varatkarn Kunkaew finished tied for 30th at 10-over 154 (77-77).
Carolina Hortian is tied for 41st after two rounds at 14-over 158, and
Kylie Bowes, playing as an individual, is tied for 57th with a 22-over 166 (81-85).
Host College of Charleston leads the event and was the only team to go under par for the day. The Cougars finished the day with a seven-under 569, while East Carolina is second with a six-over 582. Elon is third at 14-over 590, just three strokes in front of the Chants with their 17-over 593. Gardner-Webb rounds out the top five with a 32-over 608.
Western Carolina is sixth at 36-over 612, followed by Marshall (+38, 614), Appalachian State (+39, 615), Queens-Charlotte (+42-618), USC Upstate (+53, 629), and Presbyterian (+60, 636).
