ATLANTA – Coastal Carolina extended its hot streak with a straight-set sweep of Georgia State (25-23, 25-17, 25-20) on Friday night at the GSU Sports Arena — the Chanticleers' 23rd straight victory over the Panthers.

The win marked the Chanticleers' sixth consecutive victory and fourth straight sweep, improving their record to 13-4 overall and 6-0 in Sun Belt Conference play as the league's lone remaining unbeaten team.

Emily Fowler led the way with seven kills, six blocks, and 13 points to pace a balanced Chanticleer attack. Jalyn Stout and Anna Rita each added eight kills and 11 points. Stout also recorded two service aces and two block assists, while Rita contributed five total blocks.

On the defensive end, Bailee Earnhardt anchored the back row with 11 digs, while Ava Wallis collected 10 digs and 15 assists to match Stout's team-high total. As a group, the Chanticleers hit .212 and out-blocked Georgia State 13-6, holding the Panthers to a .125 hitting percentage.

Coastal took control in the second set with a .276 hitting clip and finished strong in the third, siding out at a 76 percent rate to secure the sweep.

Georgia State fell to 10-7 overall and 1-5 in Sun Belt play. The Panthers were led by Alessia Cappai, who finished with nine kills, and Emily Harden, who totaled 17 assists and seven digs. Marta Lazzarin led all players with 17 digs.
