CONWAY – Coastal Carolina Beach Volleyball players Emma Kunaus and Frida Meincke Lyø have been selected to play in the AVCA Collegiate Beach National Championships in Huntsville, Ala. November 7-9.
The pair was selected for an At-Large bid for the tournament in the fourth edition of the event. The women's tournament will consist of 64 pairs selected from college beach teams across the country.
Lyø was named the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team following last season. She paired with Kunaus to post a 21-14 overall record on the way to the program's first ever Sun Belt regular season title. Kunaus joined Lyø on the All-Sun Belt First Team.
