CONWAY, S.C. – More than two dozen Coastal Carolina University student-athletes are eligible to participate in Fall Commencement exercises inside the HTC Center on Friday, Dec. 12.

Eight student-athletes earned their bachelor's degrees, and six completed their master's degrees — four in business administration.

William M. Jones Jr., Ph.D., professor of computing science in the Gupta College of Science, will deliver the Commencement address.

Since joining CCU in 2008, Jones has distinguished himself as an award-winning teacher, mentor, and scholar. His groundbreaking research collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory and his dedication to student success have helped launch dozens of careers and elevate CCU's national research profile.
