CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team defeated the Charleston Southern Buccaneers 4-1 in its home opener at the Stevens Tennis Complex on Sunday.
- The Chanticleers swept the doubles point, highlighted by a 6-1 win on court No. 1.
- Anna Babayan won both her singles and doubles matches in the No. 1 spot, extending her combined win streak to six matches.
- Brunelle Kouam and Paula Cabrer claimed straight-set singles wins on courts No. 4 and No. 5.
- With the victory, CCU improved to 2-3 on the season.
- The Chants will hit the road to take on the College of Charleston on Feb. 26 at 1:30 p.m.
