HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team defeated James Madison 4-1 on Friday afternoon in Harrisonburg, Va.
- After dropping the match on doubles court No. 2, the Chanticleers rallied to secure victories on court No. 1, 6-3, and court No. 3, 7-6 (1), clinching the doubles point.
- Coastal extended its lead to 3-0 as Christopher Norlin and Jack Dixon earned singles wins on courts one and four, respectively.
- James Madison's lone point came from Esteve Agusti, who battled to a three-set victory on court three, 6-1, 0-6, 6-4.
- Emiliano Gonzalez Balmaceda sealed the match for the Chants with a comeback win at the No. 5 position, 2-6, 6-1, 6-1.
- Coastal Carolina will return to action on March 23 at 1 p.m. ET, taking on No. 59 Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va.
