Chants Drop Road Contest at Arkansas State

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team fell 4-1 to Arkansas State on Saturday morning in Jonesboro, Ark.
  • The No. 1 doubles pairing of Nicole Abel and Anna Babayan secured a 6-4 win, but the Red Wolves claimed victories on courts three and two to take the doubles point.
  • Arkansas State extended its lead to 2-0 with a win on court five, but Brunelle Kouam responded for the Chanticleers, cutting the deficit to 2-1 and extending her singles winning streak to 10 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory on court four.
  • The Red Wolves sealed the 4-1 win with victories on courts one and six.
  • Coastal will remain on the road to face ULM in Monroe, La., on March 23 at 10 a.m. ET.
