Charlotte, N.C. - Coastal Carolina track & field completed their weekend at the Charlotte Invitational on Saturday. The Chants posted numerous top times and finished 3rd overall on the women's side and 5th overall on the men's side.
Coastal's 4x400 meter relay team of Jordan Reece, Garrett Wilkins, Omari Taylor, and Isaiah Thomas set a new school record with a time of 3:07.50. The squad finished fourth overall in the event.
Amanda Kinloch improved on her personal-best in the 100 meter hurdles and won the event with a time of 13.11. The time ranks as the second-best in school history.
The women's 4x100 meter relay team of Latiana Acker, Amanda Kinloch, Zionna Perez-Tucker, and Camryn Lorick finished third in the event and ran the ninth-fastest time in school history with a time of 45.23.

The Chants will now focus on the Sun Belt Conference Championship from May 8-10 in Harrisonburg, Va.
