NEW ORLEANS La. – Coastal Carolina women's golf senior Sara Sarrion has been named to the All-Sun Belt second team, the league announced on Tuesday.
In her final season, Sarrion played all 10 events and 29 rounds with a stroke average of 73.5 to lead the Chanticleers. Her scoring average ranks seventh in program history for a single-season.
Sarrion's highest finish came in the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in late September, finishing 3rd out of 62 at +1. Sarrion posted a fifth place finish in the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Pawleys Island, S.C.
The senior won her match play round over Southern Miss in the Sun Belt Championship in April.
Sarrion was also named second team All-Sun Belt in 2022 after her freshman season.
