CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina University football opened its fall training camp on Wednesday, a month ahead of its season opener.
The 2025 edition of the Chants reported in Tuesday and hit the practice fields Wednesday morning in helmets for the first workout ahead of the lid lifter on Saturday, Aug. 30. Coastal is slated to travel to Virginia for a 6 p.m. ET kickoff on ACC Network.
The Chants will have a different look entering the season with new coordinators on both sides of the ball.
Drew Hollingshead will call the offensive plays while
Jeremiah Johnson handles the defensive side of things. Head Coach
Tim Beck is in his third year with the program and welcomed 61 new players in this offseason — 31 on defense and 30 on offense.
