ELON, N.C. – Adam Groves took first place at the Elon Opener in Elon, N.C. on Friday night. It was the first event for Coastal Carolina cross country this season.
Groves finished first in the men's 6k with a time of 18:19.8. Freshman Jacob Barraza finished 10th with a time of 18:44.6.
On the women's side, Olivia Fischlein was the top finisher in 16th place with a time of 14.17.4 in the 4k. Addison Laughlin finished 19th with a time of 14.25.4.
