ASHEBORO, N.C. – In just her third event with the Chants,
Carla Bourdeaux grabbed the individual championship in the 36-hole Tot Hill Farm Invitational on Monday in Asheboro, N.C. Bourdeaux finished at three-under, shooting a 70 in round one and a 71 in round two. It's the first individual title by a Chanticleer since Hannah Karg won the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate in April 2024.
As a team, Coastal finished third out of 13 teams at +23 and 599 overall. The College of Charleston won the event with a score of 585.
Ella Murray also finished in the top 10 with an eighth-place finish at +4 for the tournament.
The next tournament for the Chants is the Evie Odom Invitational from Oct. 16-18 in Virginia Beach, Va.
