Three Chanticleers Earn NCBWA All-America Honors

CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina baseball continued its run of national recognition this offseason as Cameron Flukey and Ryan Lynch have been named First Team All-Americans, while Dominick Carbone earned Second Team All-America honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

The recognition adds to an already historic offseason for the Chanticleers following one of the most successful seasons in program history.

Flukey's First Team All-America honor adds to a decorated preseason resume. The right-hander has earned 2026 Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year honors and was selected to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team. He has also been named the 2026 Baseball America Preseason Pitcher of the Year and earned unanimous selection to the Baseball America Preseason First Team All-America. Flukey has added D1Baseball Preseason First-Team All-America honors, Perfect Game Preseason First-Team All-America recognition, Perfect Game Preseason Pitcher of the Year accolades, and a spot on the Perfect Game Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team. Widely regarded as one of the premier arms in college baseball, Flukey has been a fixture on national watch lists entering the 2026 season.

Lynch's First Team All-America selection by the NCBWA follows one of the most dominant bullpen seasons in program history. The graduate student has earned Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference honors after posting a 0.56 ERA across 32.0 innings in 28 appearances during the 2025 season. Lynch recorded nine saves with a 2-1 record while striking out 36 batters against 134 hitters. He enters the 2026 season as a D1Baseball Preseason Second-Team All-American.

Carbone's Second Team All-America honor caps a strong offseason for the junior right-hander, who has also earned D1Baseball Preseason First-Team All-America recognition. Carbone played a key role out of the bullpen in 2025, appearing in 28 games and logging 41.0 innings. He finished the season with a perfect 6-0 record while recording five saves and striking out 52 batters against 174 hitters, providing Coastal with a dependable late-inning presence throughout the season.

Coastal Carolina opens the 2026 season at home against Fairfield on Friday, Feb. 13, at Springs Brooks Stadium.
