Nolan Harper of Florida Gulf Coast and Louisville's Cooper Claycomb are tied for the individual lead at 7-under par. Liberty leads the team standings with a combined score of 12-under-par 420 through the first 27 holes. No. 33 Louisville sits one stroke behind the Flames in second place, with NC State two strokes back in third and Coastal Carolina five strokes back in fourth.
Chanticleer senior
Max Bengtsson finished day one tied for fifth at 5-under-par 103.
Drew Sykes carded a 2-under-par 106 to finish the opening day tied for 14th place.
Jack Lee and
Owen Kim, who is competing as an individual, each shot even-par 108 and are tied for 27th place. Freshmen
Lucas Arntsen and
Harrison James are both 2-over-par 110. Fellow freshman
Santiago Schele stands at 3-over-par 111, while
Coleman Ferguson is 7-over-par 117.
