PENSACOLA, FLA. — Coastal Carolina women's basketball fell 80-70 to South Alabama in their first game of the Sun Belt Tournament on Wednesday at the Pensacola Bay Center.

Coastal got off to an early lead, outscoring the Jaguars 20-14 in the first quarter. South Alabama took the lead in the second quarter and would not give it up as they secured the 80-70 win to advance to the next round.
COASTAL LEADERS
In her final collegiate game,
Kristin Williams led the Chants with 16 points.
Kinsea Grimes posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. As a team, Coastal shot 40-percent from the field and 33-percent from long-range while making 11 of 24 free throw attempts.
