CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina right-handed reliever Darin Horn has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List. Horn is one of 61 pitchers nationally recognized on the list, which honors the top relief pitchers in college baseball.

The Bluffton, S.C. native has been a cornerstone out of the Chanticleers' bullpen this season, emerging as one of the most versatile and reliable arms in the Sun Belt Conference. Through 22 appearances, the right-hander owns a 6-1 record with a 3.25 ERA and five saves over 44.1 innings pitched. He has struck out 65 batters while holding opposing hitters to a .226 batting average.

Among league leaders, Horn ranks seventh in the Sun Belt in strikeouts and is the only pitcher in the conference — and one of the few nationally — with at least five wins and five saves this season.

Horn was also named to the NCBWA Preseason Stopper of the Year Watch List and has continued to build on that recognition throughout the year. His performance has also earned national and conference honors, including 2026 Perfect Game Third Team Midseason All-American recognition and Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week honors in Week 7.

Finalists will be announced on June 3, with the winner named on June 12 during the Men's College World Series.
