    Women's Volleyball Speed, Strength and Conditioning Coach

Taylor Jones was named as a speed, strength and conditioning assistant at Coastal Carolina University in 2012. He is responsible for assisting with football, and will also support women[apos]s volleyball, men[apos]s[apos] and women[apos]s track and field throwers, men[apos]s tennis, women[apos]s lacrosse and cheerleading.

Prior to coming to Coastal Carolina University, Jones spent a season as a graduate intern for the University of Maryland Terrapins working directly with football and assisting with men[apos]s and women[apos]s cross country.

In spring 2011, Jones served as an intern at the University of Missouri, where he assisted primarily with football, and men[apos]s and women[apos]s track and field, and also worked with softball, women[apos]s volleyball, baseball, men[apos]s basketball, men[apos]s and women[apos]s tennis, and women[apos]s gymnastics.

Jones received a bachelor[apos]s degree in exercise science with focus in strength and conditioning (athletic performance) and a minor in coaching and nutrition in 2011 from Springfield College in Massachusetts. He played strong safety for Springfield College football from 2007 to 2010.

He holds a certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
