Gilbert brings detailed offensive line expertise and diverse experience from multiple collegiate programs. He most recently served as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach at the University of Michigan, where he was part of the 2023 National Championship team and contributed to a front that competed at the highest level in the Big Ten. While at Michigan, he coached an offensive line that produced 2023 and 2025 Joe Moore Award semifinalists. Prior to Michigan, Gilbert served as Assistant Offensive Line Coach at Colorado and coached offensive line at the University of Idaho. He also spent time as a graduate assistant working with the offensive lines at Idaho, Memphis, and Louisville, helping develop linemen in high-tempo, high-production offenses. During his time at Louisville, he coached and mentored Mekhi Becton, a first-round draft pick of the New York Jets.
