Morris joins Coastal Carolina as Director of Football Performance after spending the 2024 season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for football at Missouri State. Prior to Missouri State, he assisted with the football and baseball programs at Tulane during the first half of the 2023–24 academic year.
Before his time at Tulane, Morris spent four years at Mercer University, where he progressed from intern to associate director of strength and conditioning. While at Mercer, he worked with multiple programs, including football, baseball, men’s soccer, lacrosse, golf, and beach volleyball, and played a role in the development and implementation of the department’s nutrition operation.
A former student-athlete, Morris played football at Georgia Southern from 2013–16. He earned his bachelor’s degree in physical health and education in 2017 and his master’s degree in kinesiology in 2018, both from Georgia Southern. Morris holds multiple professional certifications, including CSCS, SCCC, Precision Nutrition Level 1, and ALTIS Essentials.
