Abbi Pritchard joined Coastal Carolina in August of 2021 as an Assistant Director of Media Relations. She came to CCU following two years at Wright State University where she was the Assistant Director of Communications.
Before joining Wright State, Pritchard spent two years with the Columbus Crew as a Communications Intern. Part of her duties with the Crew were to help facilitate the day-to-day media relations initiatives while also working with the layout and creation of the Club’s official match notes.
Pritchard also spent two years as a student assistant in the sports information office at Marshall University where she graduated from the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a sports emphasis.
At Coastal, Pritchard will assist in the day-to-day operations of the media relations department and will serve as the media relations contact for both the men’s and women’s soccer programs as well as the softball program.
