His mark of 48.82 in the 400m is the third best all-time...
2002-03: Competed at the NCAA Regionals in the 400m hurdles and as part of the 4x400m relay team... Won the 400m hurdles at the Big South Outdoor Championships in 52.97 seconds, breaking the school record and helping the team to its first conference crown... Also was a member of the 4x400m relay team that won the BSC title... Won the 400m hurdles at the CCU Invitational with a time of 54.05... Set a PR of 53.97 in the 400m hurdles at the Raleigh Relays, and was part of the school record-breaking 4x400m relay squad... Ran a 49.47 in the open 400m dash at the Chanticleer Classic... Broke the school 4x400m relay record again at the Penn Relays...
2001-02: Was a member of the first-place 4x400m relay team at the Big South Championships... Won the 400m hurdles and came in second in the 110m hurdles at the Chanticleer Classic, as well as placing third in the long jump... Placed fourth in the 400m hurdles at the S.C. Collegiate Championships, was on the 4x100m relay team that finished fifth, and placed eighth in the pole vault... Also finished second in the 400m hurdles and fifth in the 110m hurdles at the BSC meet... Placed second in the 400m hurdles at the Shamrock Invitational and the CCU Invitational... Won the 400m hurdles at the CCU Opener, and placed third in the long jump and fourth in the javelin...
High School: 2001 graduate of Richland Northeast High, where he earned All-American honors as a senior after placing fifth at the Adidas Nationals in the 4x400-meter relay... Was a member of the All-State and All-Region Teams, and was an All-Area selection by The State... Placed second in the decathlon at the Russel E. Blunt Invitational, and led his team to a state title with a 1:59 split time in the 4x800-meter relay...
