Drafted in the 39th round (1,168th overall) by the Seattle Mariners out of high school in the 2018 MLB Draft ... Graduated in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Economics ... Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022 with the Texas Rangers.
 

2022 (Redshirt Junior)

  • Appeared in a team-high 25 games on the season out of the bullpen
  • Moved from a starter to the bullpen in the offseason

  • Followed that performance up with a win in his next start versus Davidson (March 5), fanning a season-high seven hitters and allowing just one run on two hits over 5.0-complete innings pitched
  • Struck out five hitters, but also allowed five runs on five hits in 4.0-innings to take the loss to FIU (March 12)
  • Got the Friday night start at West Virginia (April 21), striking out two batters and surrendering four runs on four hits but did not factor in the decision
  • Fanned five hitters in back-to-back starts in conference play at UT Arlington (April 12) and versus Georgia Southern (April 18) in five-plus innings in both outings
  • Also made starts at Liberty (April 25) and Georgia State (May 2) before moving to the bullpen
