Brooke Kochevar begins her second season as the Chanticleers assistant coach. She rejoined the program after playing at CCU from 2012-14.
During her first season with the Chants, Kovhevar helped lead CCU to a couple of tournament victories and a second-place finish at the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship.
it was a season in which Tiffany Arafi set several program records on her way to a national ranking of fourth, the highest ranking of any Chanticleer in program history. Following her playing days, Kochevar began her coaching career as the assistant women’s golf coach at Benedictine University over the past two seasons.
“I am thrilled Brooke will be joining our program, “Quinney said. It is always very special to bring back a former player and it feels like perfect timing. Brooke has shown a tremendous work ethic in pursuing her post-graduate degree while also coaching and continuing to teach golf. Her passion for golf and competition will be infectious, and I look forward to watching her support and develop our players moving forward.”
